GP services

Your GP works with you to help you to help you manage any chronic health conditions such as diabetes, asthma, heart disease, etc. With the help of our nurses they will also ensure that you have regular health screening.  This could include, cervical screening, healthy heart checks, mammograms, ‘well man’ or ‘well woman’ checks, skin checks.

For travel consultations, a GP appointment is required to discuss the necessary travel immunisations and considerations for the country you may be traveling to. Please note that we do not offer Yellow Fever vaccinations. If you need this specific vaccine, please contact the Wellington Travel Clinic.

Your GP appointments are for 15 minutes and due to time constraints, it is not always possible to deal with multiple concerns. Please give 24 hours notice if cancelling to avoid a consult fee.

If you require a longer time, please advise the receptionist and they can  make a double appointment. There will be an extra fee for this.

We endeavor to book you with your regular doctor but if they are not available we will book you with another GP, please advise the reception staff if this is not convenient for you when booking appointment.

You are welcome to request a chaperone to accompany you for your appointment please advise the receptionist when booking your appointment or when you check in at reception when you arrive for your appointment.
