Appointments
We make every effort to stay on time, but unavoidable circumstances will occasionally set us back. Please be assured that we will take as much care with you when it is your turn. Feel free to contact the practice prior to your appointment to see if your doctor is running on time.
All appointments are in 15 minute time slots. If you require a double appointment please advise reception during booking.
Urgent requests
If you or your child need to see a doctor urgently, and no appointments are available, please inform reception and they will either get a nurse to speak to you or book you in with a nurse. The nurses are in close contact with the doctors and will discuss with them as required.
A normal consult fee will apply if the GP sees you after the nurse assessment. If you are assessed by the nurse and given an appointment for the following day a usual nurse charge will apply. This service is designed for non-routine medical problems that cannot wait.
If you are unsure if you need to be seen urgently HEALTHLINE is a free 24 hour, health advice service where you can speak to a registered nurse Ph. 0800 611 116. This service advises you on when and where you are best to access medical care, depending on your symptoms.
